§ 2-26. Authority to issue citations to appear in municipal court.

The city manager or the administrator of any city department may issue a citation to a person requiring such person to appear in the municipal court if the city official reasonably believes that the person has engaged in conduct that violates a law or ordinance that the city official is responsible for enforcing. The term "administrator" means department director, department head or chief.
